An abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the upper and lower abdomen and tightens the muscles of the abdominal wall. This gives the abdomen a smoother and firmer appearance. Abdominoplasty is beneficial for people who have used diet and exercise but cannot achieve their goal of a tighter stomach either because of pregnancy, aging, prior surgery, or heredity. Dr. Vinyard understands these challenges and is committed to helping you achieve your goal. A tummy tuck or abdominoplasty is ideal for the patient with persistent excess skin that will not contract despite exercise and diet. It can also repair the abdominal muscles that have separated and has not returned to their original position. An abdominoplasty consists of removal of excess skin and stretch marks in the lower abdomen, repositioning the belly button and repair of the rectus abdominal muscles. This combination allows you to regain your flat tummy and waist that has been affected by pregnancy or weight gain. It can make a huge difference in the way that your clothing fits and your body’s appearance in bathing suits.Photo Gallery
