Yes. At the Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery, we only care physician dispensed skin care products that require a prescription for use. These products will provide you with much greater improvement in your skin compared to over the counter products.
It is required for prescription based products to list the percentage of active ingredients in their products. This way you know that the product that you are purchasing will actually do what it claims to do. In addition, prescription dispensed products can have higher concentrations of active ingredients because a physician is monitoring your progress. It is not required for over the counter products to do the same.

The Vivite line of physician dispensed skin care focuses on 3 key elements to achieving healthy skin: Exfoliation, hydration and protection. GLX technology allows for the fusion of glycolic acid and natural antioxidants to achieve real changes in your skin. Exfoliation with glycolic acid is vital to removing the outer non-productive layers of the skin. The level of glycolic acid delivered to your skin ranges from 10%-20% depending upon the specific product used. This high level of glycolic acid can be irritating in other products, but Vivite is well tolerated by all skin types and is delivered in a time released fashion. Antioxidants help protect the skin from free radical damage from the sun and environmental factors like pollution. Further, GLX technology stimulates production of hyaluronic acid (natural hydration to the skin) and collagen, as well as , epidermal growth factor which is vital to new healthy skin.
